Meet Our Team

Dr. Paul Jones

Dr. Jones graduated in 1987 from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He did his undergraduate work at Miami University in Oxford Ohio. He was able to complete his undergraduate work at Miami to get into veterinary school in 3 years instead of the usual 4 years. For three years while in High School he was an evening manager for a local Pet Shop in his hometown of Willoughby, Ohio. This is where his love for all animals grew.

Dr Jones started his career after graduation in Saint Clairsville, Ohio working for a multi doctor practice where he did surgery 5 days a week. While in Saint Clairsville he also treated racing grayhounds out of Wheeling Downs along with doing health checks for a large pet shop. In 1989 he purchased the Greenville Veterinary Clinic where he has limited his practice to the treatment of dogs and cats. Dr. Jones also is a consultant for one of the largest bomb dog/drug dog kennels in Ohio, working with veterinarians and police officers from all over the United States. Also, for over 10 years he has taught  a 5 hour basic first aid course to police officers on how to care for their canine police partners.

Dr. Jones currently lives in Greenville with his wife Kathy. They have 4 dogs, 4 cats (all adopted as strays), a pony, 2 pygmy goats, and a flock of homing pigeons. He has 5 children and 4 grandchildren who love to come to the clinic and visit the farm.

Dr Jones is currently a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association. He previously served as a representative for the second district. He is also currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
